Motorola Working on Large Screen Android Phone

In effort to gain an edge on the omnipotent iPhone, manufacturers have been seeking new selling points to integrate into future models. In that theme, Motorola is reportedly developing a new high-end Android-based smartphone that would feature a massive 4.3-inch display.

Until now, the largest screened smartphone honor has gone to the Windows Mobile-based HTC HD2 (4 inches). Thus far the largest Android-equipped models such as the Motorola Droid and Google's forthcoming Nexus One have boasted screen sizes of only 3.7 inches.

Other rumors on this prospective handset (being called "The Shadow" currently) are an integrated 8 mega-pixel camera and HDMI video-out port.
