Motorola Announces SCPL

Out damned vowel! Out I say (with apologies to Mr Shakespeare)

According to a story from Reuters today, Motorola are set to release a range of new slim phones called the SCPL.

Ron Garriques, who heads Motorola's biggest division, said the range would be called the SCPL, pronounced "scalpel." He did not give any details beyond describing the phones as thinner and with five features that would stand out from rival phones.

Mr Garriques also said he expects the company to sell up to 500 million phones from the RAZR range during the life of the product.
