I saw this mysterious Web site called WhoWouldYouPhoneforFree.com promising to give away free phone calls to anyone this coming October 22. You just need sign up and nominate who you would like to call for free. For an extra push, it also has a stopwatch to tell us that time is running out and we should sign up immediately.



Seems like a VoIP company to me. I think it fails to elicit the much needed buzz because it pushed back its deadline from October 15 to 22. It is also highly possible that it will disappoint those people who signed up. The list of nominated people they like to call for free include famous personalities like George Bush, Tony Blair, Tom Cruise, jessica alba, Mandy Moore, and even Dr. Phil! I bet it will be very tough to get them on the phone.

Oh well, just have to wait until the 22nd to know if this is a hit or a disaster. Nice try though.
