and Direct Push to your iPhone, at least once the version 2.0 firmware is available. I suppose that's news in and of itself, but what I find amusing is that they recognize that push email is going to have a huge impact on the iPhone's battery life. What are they doing about this? They signed up to be resellers of mophie's Juice Pack, which is an iPhone battery-the first to receive the coveted "Works with iPhone" certification from Apple. 4iPhone is selling this battery on their site along with their service-if you want it.
From the press release:
The added "juice" gives consumers up to an additional 250 hours of standby time, 8 hours of talk time, 6 hours of Internet use, 7 hours of video playback, and 24 hours of audio playback. The juice pack™ also integrates a 4 Led 'charge status' indicator and its own 30-pin dock connector, making it incredibly simple to recharge the juice pack™ using standard iPhone accessories.
While the battery idea is nice, the battery currently only works with the first generation iPhones. A version for the new iPhone 3G-which will need it much more than the original-is coming.
