Hoping to provide wireless Internet access for people on the go, Vodafone UK has partnered with Huawei Technologies to launch the world's slimmest and smallest High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA) USB modem, the E172.
This is a very handy alternative if there are no wi-fi hotspots in the area. As long as there is mobile phone coverage, users can access the Internet instantly. The uplink speeds of up to 2Mbps and download rates of 7.2 Mbps are very impressive. Moreover, this plug-and-play device is also working on major airports in the UK.
The elegantly designed E172 is compatible with any PC and laptop powered by Windows (Vista and XP) and Mac OSX.
