VNavigator Launches with New Moto Handset

Verizon Wireless is kicking off its new VNavigator location-based services app with the announcement of the V325 handset.
The V325 looks to be a middle-of-the-road massmarket clamshell, with the LBS feature as its main perk. VNavigator costs $9.95 a month or $2.99 a day, but doesn't look to have any more features beyond directional wayfinding, saving of popular searches, and some local points of interest. Still, it is GPS-based LBS, and we Americans should be grateful for what little in the way of advanced services we can get.

It’s a navigator, and it navigates, among other things. What exactly is it that the foreign models do that it doesn’t?
