Vertu Growing Quickly, Looking to Expand

Vertu, the luxury handset brand of Nokia, is growing at a triple-digit rate, according to comments from Vertu President Alberto Torres to a Finnish newspaper. In his comments, reported by Reuters, Torres stressed Vertu was not a volume play, and may take 10 years to reach a million handsets sold. He said Vertu is planning to boost growth by selling in Nordic countries and Japan, and then Latin America.
