Verizon Launches Kiddie Tracker Service

Verizon Launches Kiddie Tracker Service

Summer's here so why not only give your kid a mobile phone to stay in touch from the pool or down on the beach, but track the little monster as well? Verizon has launched it's own kid-phone with tracking functions, and a location services with it, which it is calling Chaperone.

The Chaperone service comes with an LG Migo, and is available with two different plans: a $9.99 a month tariff (on top of service) that allows you to see where Junior is breaking and entering via PC software, and a $19.99 a month plan through which you can get alerts when he grabs a ride with a friend and leaves a defined area. It can also be applied to a special version of the Moto RAZR.
