US Mobile Data Revenue Climbing Nicely, Thank You
According to CTIA, US mobile data revenues are starting to look rosy. US operators scored a cool $6.5 billion in mobile data revenues for the first half of 2006, with over 12 billion SMS sent in June alone, and over 1 billion MMS in the same month. Imagine it, over 1 billion people accidentally using MMS, not knowing they had it! Talk about randomlinks chance!

Nonetheless, with revenues for data climbing, operators may just begin to get some ROI on their endless investments in infrastructure and technologies. Poor dears.
