Tracking the Global Flyer

Steve Fosset is flying around the world again, this time aiming for the longest solo flight, a target of 26,000 miles. For those interested, Keni Barwick from Conchango has dropped us a note about a Smartphone application that lets you keep up with Steve's progress in real time. The application is available for Windows Mobile 2005 (Smartphone and pocket PC), Pocket PC 2003E and Smartphone 2003E.

    My company (Metal Toad Media) created the map images for Blue Sky Network, which were used to track the Global Flyer’s position. We recently took that information and created a time-lapse movie of the most recent Global Flyer flight:
