
T-Mobile's hoping to improve its 4th-place ranking among US wireless carriers by releasing a high-tech 3G touch-phone running Google Android for a reasonable price. Hitting stores today, the myTouch 3G (the newest Google Android-powered smartphone with applications that learn and recommend favorite foods, stores, and attractions based a user's preferences alone) comes in at $199.
The handset has an integrated 3.2-megapixel camera, music player and access to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
The T-Mobile myTouch 3G will retail for $199 with a two-year contract.
