This is Serious…Mobile Phones Can Decrease Sperm Count

mobile health

If you desperately want to have a baby or want to add more, do not use your mobile phones too much. According to a preliminary research published in Fertility and Sterility journal, excessive use of mobile handsets may affect the quality of a man's sperm.

It can result to low sperm count or even higher percentage of abnormal sperm. The study conducted in Cleveland Clinic is based on 361 men. In theory, the electromagnetic energy coming out from our mobile phones could damage our body tissue such as DNA.

"Our results show a strong association of cell phone use with decreased semen quality. However, they do not prove a cause-and- effect relationship," lead researcher Dr Ashok Agarwal said.

So how long is long? More than 4 hours a day is considered long enough to have a negative impact on sperm quality.

WHEN CLIENTS CONTACT THEM FOR REPLACEMENTS, THE COMPANY (CELLULAR HK) ASKS THEM TO SHIP BACK THE MOBILE PHONE SO THAT IT COULD BE REPLACED. BUT AFTER THE CPMPANY (CELLULAR HK) RECEIVES THE HAND SET, THEY DO NOT SHIP BACK NEW PHONE MENTIONING EITHER THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THE PHONE, OR THEY RECEIVED THE PHONE BROKEN !! RECENTLY THEY CHEATED ON A USD 980.00 WORTH OF O2 XDA EXEC MOBILE HAND SET. PLS SEE THE DETAIL OF THE COMPANY WHO CHEATS ON E-BAY:

P.S. Having a phone constantly attached to your head also reduces the demand.
    Just a thought.

  3. PhoneBoy Says:

Define “use” anyway. I don’t talk on my phone, but I certainly use the data features a lot. :)

  4. mobiletechdude Says:

phoneboy, what sites are you using for mobile web? have you tried http://www.quobile.com? it’s pretty nice.

  5. Leo Blanco Says:

Unfortunately, the report did not clearly define “use” here. Though I’ll be damned if its means more than 4 hours of sending SMS!

    IN RESPONSE TO: saimon kayser
Almost the exact same thing happened to me! Except 4.5 months later I’ve yet to recieve the phone we purchased. They sent a phone and it arrived damaged. Ask me to send it back $50 extra shipping. Then they send a refurb phone. We are like- uh we paid for a new phone. Send us OUR NEW PHONE we paid for—> still no phone and no response from them!!
We keep filing reports/disputes but because of the timeframes of shipping back and forth the 60 day timeframes rules us out of the ability to get buyer protection, etc… We are still trying to get the phone or a refund. We will continue to email and call them! No matter what! Good luck to you. You shouldn’t give up though. Try ripoffreport dot com.

    report them: here:
    Dear antake38,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to the item number 140180514034. I
understand your report of receiving your item but it was not as
described. You mentioned that the seller promised to give you another
one but you have not received. I also that you were wondering what
action at this point should you take to resolve this issue.

I understand how unsettling this is and I appreciate the time and effort
you put into letting us know about it. At this time, I would like to
review some information that you may find helpful in resolving your
    concerns.

We’ve reviewed your report about “wmcellphone” and we assure you that
appropriate action will be taken based on the results.

Our actions may include listing cancellation, limits on account
privileges, account suspension, forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled
listings, and loss of PowerSeller status. Due to eBay’s Privacy Policy,
we are unable to disclose member’s account information as well as the
actions that maybe taken. This policy protects all eBay members and
ensures that your personal account history will always remain private.

Buyers can open an Item Not Received or Significantly Not As Described
dispute any time between 10 and 60 days after the transaction date. The
transaction date is the date when the listing ends, the buyer agrees to
buy the item, and the seller commits to sell it.

For more information on this process, go to:

    http://pages.ebay.com/help/tp/inr-snad-process.html

Although you are unable to file a dispute for this item because the
listing ended more than 60 days ago and may not be covered by our other
buyer protection programs, I have outlined here options to help resolve
your situation. (Details about each are included below):

    - File a dispute with SquareTrade
    - Submit a mail fraud complaint
    - Contact PayPal or your credit or debit card issuer
-File a report with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3)
    -Contact Law Enforcement
    -File a report with Econsumer.gov

Now let me discuss each option for you.

    File a Dispute with SquareTrade

SquareTrade is an independent organization that provides free, online
dispute resolution services to eBay members. To file a case with
    SquareTrade, go to:

    http://cf.squaretrade.com/user_registration/default.cfm

    Submit a Mail Fraud Complaint

If the item was sent through the United States Postal Service, you can
submit a complaint reporting mail fraud. To complete a Mail Fraud
    Complaint Form, go to:

    http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/fraud/

Contact PayPal or Your Credit or Debit Card Issuer

If you paid for the item through PayPal, we encourage you to contact
PayPal Customer Service. Unfortunately, this purchase may not be
eligible for a refund if the payment was sent more than 45 days ago.

PayPal takes buyer complaints very seriously and will review your
situation. Your report may help other eBay members prevent unsuccessful
    purchases in the future.

To contact PayPal Customer Service by email, go to:

    https://www.paypal.com/ewf/f=default

If you paid for this item through credit or debit card, please contact
your card issuer immediately. Most card issuers provide consumer
protection in instances of online fraud.

-File a report with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3)

You may also consider filing a complaint with the Internet Crime
Complaint Center (IC3). The IC3 is a partnership between the Federal
Bureau of Investigation and the National White Collar Crime Center. They
will review complaints and refer information to the appropriate local,
    state, or federal agency.

To file a complaint with the IC3, go to:

    http://www.ic3.gov/

    -Contact Law Enforcement

In this situation, you have the option to report the seller to Law
Enforcement Authorities, both in your area and the seller’s location. To
find law enforcement officers by area, please go to:

    http://www.usacops.com

When you contact a law enforcement officer, please explain the
    following:

    - The officer can contact eBay for help with the investigation.
    - For more information on how eBay can help, the officer should go to:

    http://pages.ebay.com/securitycenter/law_enforcement.html

    -File a report with Econsumer.gov

Because your payment was sent outside the country you live in, we
recommend that you file a report about this situation with
    econsumer.gov.

Econsumer.gov can help you file a report with consumer protection
agencies in more than 20 countries, including Canada, the United
Kingdom, Australia, and Japan. Reporting your experience can help these
agencies discover a new fraud trend. Your report may also prevent other
buyers from experiencing the same situation.
