Text to Screen Coming to the US
Seattle, US-based company Blue frog have announced they are testing a Text to TV service in Detroit, Indianapolis and Phoenix, which allows customers to have their text messages appear on the TV screen. The company is also saying it plans to roll out the service in 10 other cities in the near future. Not being based in the US I don't know if this is a new service, although Rafat at MocoNews seems to think so.

Text to Screen is something that is a daily occurrence on a large number of satellite channels in the UK. According to TMC.net's original story, this particular implementation is a specific scroller at the bottom of the screen, which includes information on how customers can use a shortcode to send in messages. All messages are also moderated by the company's Phillippines-based call center.
