Announcements
by Jason Giacchino on June 17, 2008

Sure the industry seems to have all attention focused on the Apple iPhone of late, Sony Ericsson has a different type of user in mind with the announcement of their forthcoming C905a handset: particularly the photographer on the go. With an internal 8.1-megapixel camera with Xenon flash, the C905a offers up such goodies as face detection auto-focus, smart contrast and image stabilization.
GPS functions not only keeps users on course b8ut actually allows photos to be geo-tagged! Photos can be stored on the included 2GB memory stick micro (M2). A USB adaptor provided in-box allows for easy transfer of photos to-and-from a PC. Photos can be viewed on the 2.4-inch (scratch-resistant) mineral glass display before transfer.
The C905a won't be hitting markets until the 4th quarter of 2008 and the price hasn't yet been released.
