An audience of 200 people, which included manager Alan McGee and a small group of fans who were lucky enough to win tickets via their mobile phones, watched Carl Barat and co tear through an hour set at the 'Anywhere' venue near London Bridge underground.To win tickets, potential gig-goers had to visit Waterloo station at 7am with a bluetooth-enabled phone. Those lucky enough to receive the bluetooth invite were then directed to the Virgin Megastore in London's Oxford street to collect tickets later the same day.
As the band arrived onstage to massive cheers at the Nokia organised event, BassistDidz Hammond shouted: "Ello, ello, how's it going?," before they kicked off their set with album track 'Deadwood'.
As well as performing songs from their debut such as 'Doctors And Dealers', 'If You Love A Woman' and hit single 'Bang Bang You're Dead', the four-piece sent their fans into a wild frenzy when they threw in Libertines classics 'Death On The Stairs', 'France' and 'I Get Along'.
