
Samsung Electronics, the world's second-largest mobile phone maker and producer of the Samsung Omnia 2, today unveiled the I7500, its first Android-powered smartphone.
Measuring just 11.9mm thick, the I7500 features a 3.2-inch AMOLED touch screen display, high-speed 7.2Mbps HSDPA Internet and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Additional features include 5.0-megapixel camera and 8GB of internal memory.
Running on Google's Android operating system, the handset also comes with a host of Google services such as Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Calendar and Google Talk.
Integrated GPS lets consumers use Google Maps features like My Location, Google Latitude, Street View, local search and detailed route description.
