Samsung is poised to drop their latest slim slider with the silver finish in a little over a week on the Verizon network. Calling it the Sway, this new handset will offer an MP3 player with Rhapsody, where music can be side-loaded from a PC with a USB cable.

Also included is an integrated 2.0-megapixel camera with digital zoom and NightShot to enhance photos in dark environments. It will feature Bluetooth wireless technology with profile support for headsets, handsfree car kits, serial ports, vCards, and stereo music.

The Sway has expandable memory up to 8GB with external microSD card slot. Applications include mobile IM capabilities, personal organizer with calculator, calendar, alarm clock, world clock, stop watch and notepad.

The Samsung Sway will be available in stores on Oct. 14.
