Samsung is getting serious in the "slider" handset game, breaking out the E900 in Europe a few weeks early to counter the success of Nokia's 6280 and LG's KG800 "Chocolate" handset, which has just come out but had some burps along the way according to reports and which is seeing saturation marketing in China among other places from what I could tell on the street there. OneCompare quotes sources as saying Samsung has put £2 million in marketing behind the launch of the sleek device.
As for specs, it is a tri-band device with a 2 megapixel camera, MP3 player and accompanying 80 MB of internal memory. It also has some interface tweaks to make navigation a bit more intuitive.
