Red Herring Adds Smaato to Mobile News Reader

Red Herring has announced a deal with Smaato which will see the latter's mobile ad serving software integrated into the former's mobile news reader.

"Our upcoming mobile RSS newsreader will allow us to extend our brand and content further into the mobile space. This partnership with Smaato allows us to monetize this experience and include our sponsors and advertisers into this brand new extension", comments Mindy M. Hull, VP, Business Development, Red Herring, Inc.

The Red Herring Mobile News Reader will be debuted at Red Herring Venture Market Europe conference in Cannes later this month, and at CTIA in Orlando afterwards.
