
Organizations are pushing out enterprise applications to mobile users as fast as they can. They understand that a mobile workforce is not only always available but is more productive. Likewise, pushing out applications closer to the end customer increases customer service, build customer loyalty, and raises company profits.
But actually providing the infrastrucutre for mobile applications can be confusing. What devices are available, should be used, and will grow with your appliation? I think most importantly, those developing mobile applications need to consider the ways they are going to initially market the application. When you initially develop your plan to launch an application, start by pulling together interested consumers to an SMS list so you can send an quick alert when your app is ready.
