PayPal goes Mobile
PayPal has launched a mobile version of it's service, allowing customers to send and make payments using the PayPal service from any supported mobile device.
You can use your mobile phone to securely send money and make payments within the U.S. and Canada. To use PayPal mobile, you must activate your mobile phone. Activating your phone requires setting a secure mobile PIN and confirming phone ownership.

You can send your payment either through text message to the PayPal mobile short code 729725 (PAYPAL) or by calling the automated voice system at 1-800-4PAYPAL. You can also purchase items using Text to Buy or make donations using Text to Give.
The service is also available in the UK (you will need to be logged in to PayPal to view this page), potentially allowing any of the 10 million or so registered PayPal users to send payments via their mobile.

Also included is support for Text2Buy, a service that lets you buy items using your mobile simply by texting a product code to PayPal's shortcode.
