Nokia's latest phone, the E63, appears to target the business segment of the mobile phone industry with just enough perks to interest non-business types alike. This new converged device can switch modes via the press of a button, from viewing corporate mail, appointments and intranet data, to viewing photos, personal email and text messages.
Users can capture and view photos (and videos) with the 2.0-megapixel CMOS camera and bright 320 x 240 pixel landscape display. Music lovers can enjoy tunes downloaded from the Nokia Music Store via a 3.5 mm audio jack, and the Ovi application lets users remotely access files from their PC, even when their computer is offline.
Featuring a full QWERTY thumb-board, the Nokia E63 will be available in ruby red or ultramarine blue. It is expected to begin shipping within weeks for around $250.
