Reaserch in Motion has unveiled the BlackBerry Pearl 8220 smartphone, which RIM touts as the first BlackBerry phone to come in the flip form factor.
This quad-band EDG based smartphone weighs in 3.6 ounces and features 2 high-resolution, light sensing color displays, an external LCD screen and a 240×320 internal LCD, recognition for Voice Activated dialing, support for mp3 ring tones, conference calling, speed dialing, call forwarding, voicemail attachment playback, background noise cancellation, speaker phone, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, and a large QWERTY thumb pad.
Software goodies include DataViz Documents to Go software suite for editing MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint filee in addition to BlackBerry Professional Software suite and Enterprise Server.
Finally, the Pearl Flip will offer a 2.3 megapixel camera with flash, zoom and video recording.
The 8220 will be available this fall exclusively for T-Mobile.

Hmmm... Nice. I like the flip factor. It makes it more like regular phones and smaller, but still gives you the great feature of previous blackberry model.

For T-Mobile’s G1, there will be a bundle of tmobile g1 accessories online to select from; everything from Backup Batteries to Car Accessories, G1 Cases, Chargers, Cables, Headphones, Cradles, Bluetooth Accessories, and more. The list goes on and on, but basically the primary purposes of any g1 accessories are to add functionality, such as where you can use it and what you can use it with, make some features easier to use, and extend the use of the G1 Android phone at Fommy.com.

I don't know why there is so much fuss about the Blackberry Storm. The phone is ok, but is looks extremely bulky once you compare it to phones like the HTC Pro and the xperia x1 which are much sleeker. I think people just like the brand name of Blackberry since so many celebrities use it.
