MySpace Mobile Launches on Cingular (US)
Filed in archive Mobile Community by tom on December 20, 2006
MySpace has finally gone mobile, with the announcement - and launch - of a deal with Cingular to allow MySPace users access to their pages via the US carrier. The service, which comes with a US$2.99 a month price tag, lets users post photos, make blog entries and comments, and send and receive emails via their MySpace page. The wider services, such as video and customised graphics and advertising won't be accessible.

There has been talk of MySpace coming to mobile for a while now, but personally I didn't think it would be as a paid-for service limited to a single US-only mobile carrier, also requiring users to download a Java application.
