Motorola's New Handset Built to Military Spec

Motorola’s latest handset looks to appeal to those users who make a habit out of destroying their phone. Calling it the Quantico, it features an exterior shell forged from chrome, glass, mesh and rubber and designed to survive in up to one meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

A rubberized overmold on the shell is built for grip to meet military specifications including protection against extreme pressure, temperature, dust, shock, vibration and blowing rain.

Side ported audio speakers provide clear, uninterrupted sound and high performing speakerphone capabilities.

Additional features include a1.3 megapixel, fixed focus internal camera, and integrated Bluetooth capabilities to allow for hands-free calls, and full GPS functionality (including turn by turn navigation). Dedicated external buttons allows access to popular features even with the flip closed.
