If you need proof of the slow economy, look no further than the cellular phone industry and the recent resurgence of consumer demand in the prepaid sector.
To that end, Boost Mobile, the prepaid phone service business of Sprint Nextel, has recently acquired the Motorola i410 to its growing stable of mobile phone offerings.
The i410 is the sixth new handset rolled out by Boost this year. The i410 flip phone is now available at Boost Mobile retail stores and independent wireless dealer locations nationwide.
The Motorola i410 is a clamshell that features GPE, bluetooth, and MMS in addition to speakerphone functionality. The cellphone has dual-displays and in addition to PTX-features, it boasts an Openwave WAP browser.
Pricing has yet to be released.
