You may not hear about this on those cool Droid commercials currently occupying airwaves for the upcoming Holiday season, but Verizon says it’s time to release an Android update for the Motorola Droid.
The patch would intend to improve the camera's auto-focus feature and the phone's voice reception quality.
In addition the Android 2.0.1 update will offer new OS features such as multiple email accounts, shortcuts, an improved virtual keyboard, browser bookmarks with thumbnails and double-tap zoom.
Verizon says this update will be automatically pushed to users within the month.
