Motorola and Kodak announced their combined venture today, the ZINE ZN5, a 5.0-megapixel camera phone with ModeShift Technology which actually realigns buttons based on the application and Kodak Imaging Technology for bright, crisp images.

The internal 5.0-megapixel camera will offer auto-focus, Xenon flash, 4GB of optional external memory and optimized settings for low-light environments. In addition Kodak Imaging Technology will be combined with Kodak Perfect Touch Technology for brighter and more vivid images. Pics can be transferred via USB, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth wireless technology or printed directly wirelessly on Bluetooth printers.

On the phone-side of things, the new ZN5 will offer Motorola's CrystalTalk technology which allows callers to hear and be heard in noisy environments. With dual compatibility for GSM and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), users can connect to high-speed wireless connections and surf the web via a full HTML browser. The ZN5 also supports SMS, MMS, IM and personal email.

The new ZN5 will be available world wide later this year. Price has not yet been announced.
