It works...
im 16 and one of my friends kept playing it out loud dureing all my classes
it was annoying as hell and it felt like as if my ears were gonna bleed.
but the teachers had no idea what was going on and why all of us complain..
to describe what it sounds like it sounds like a ringing noise of a tv that is left on or if you close your ears but really high pitched.

haven't really done much of this. but basically, you just set your camera to a long exposure time, and adjust the F-stop to account for the amount of light. make sure the subject stays very still and the camera is on a tripod, or SohbetI have a feeling that some of these are done with real lights, but some must be photoshoped.
You would do it similar to the lighting tutorials, using color dodge and multiply.

I just love reading these "scoops" in hindsight. The 40D has proven to be one hell of a product. Unless you're hung up on the fact it is not full frame, this camera is almost a perfect value. More rugged than the XTi, not as expensive as the 5D, and a nice step up from the 30D.

I completely rewrote the Drools Alpha Node hashing for 4.0.x, as what was in 3.0.x was too complicated. 4.0.x includes the ability to set the threshold for when hashing is turned on/off, currently it defaults to a fan out of 3 or more...
