Moblog UK have announced a deal to provide a mobile community in support of a Channel 4 program called the Big Art Project.
The TV series 'Big Art Project' will be the culmination of a year long online and mobile community, and likely to prove to be one of the biggest social media projects undertaken in the UK to date. Channel 4 has worked with the Arts Council on the project, which will aim to encourage debate about the nature and definition of public art, which could easily include graffiti, if people consider it 'public art'.Via Vecosys and SMS Text News.

Just a small correction, the project is not “a year long” - the mobile aspect (the Big Art Mob) will have been going for a year by the time the associated TV series is broadcast. The Big Art Mob will be kept going indefinitely to create the first map of the UK’s public art and an active community around it.
