Marriott Piloting Wireless Avance Check-in from Windows Mobile

By way of Lockergnome comes news that hotel chain Marriott is testing a new mobile check-in app in Redmond, Washington for Windows Mobile devices (get the connection? Redmond? Windows?). Using an app that they download to their Winmob device in advance, guests can check-in on the way to the hotel, and just pick up a key at a dispenser down in the lobby, bypassing the wait of, well, typically no seconds on the way up to their room. Can I order the right kind of pillow in advance? That's my killer app.

Apple went ahead and did what?

Let third parties sell PC emulation software to run Vista/XP on YOUR OWN HARDWARE?
Supported bootcamp so you can dual boot, AFTER hackers had rewritten howtos anyway?

If you buy a PC, you’re allowed to dual boot without asking the permission of the manufacture, and without a funky bootcamp+drivers tool either.
