Grundig have announced a new smartphone that runs Linux as the primary OS. The B700 (pictured left) has some respectable statistics, such as a 2 megapixel camera, a 2.4 inch QVGA screen, a full QWERTY keyboard, and is also a Quad-band GSM/Edge enabled device. The handset also supports bluetooth and USB connectivity.
This is however a serious piece of kit and despite that fact that is doe not have Blackberry, does mean that is some inferior device that looks good but cannot deliver the services that the user is going to need, after all there is nothing worse than buying a product only to find that it cannot deliver the services that the user is going to need.
Thanks to Mobile Whack.

Nice smartphone. Didn’t knew they are using Linux on these nowadays. That’s ok because the less memory and power consumption means a longer life.
