Keyless Concept Mobile
Uberphones has an interesting post today, showing off a new concept mobile handset that removes what many would consider to be an essential part of any mobile phone: the keys.
Just when you thought that you've seen all there ever was to concept cellphones, along comes Branko Lukic who turns your perception upside down with the Tarati keyless phone. Yes sir, what you get is a card-sized handset that substitutes its keys with...nothing. In order to dial, you need to pass your fingers through the keyholes instead. Lukic describes the phone as being able to "connect with others by passing fingers, in order, through key holes. This action of dialing alone is a more magical experience and, hence, more indicative of what's really happening beyond the visible realm.
It's almost like a Theremin in that you dial without actually touching anything.
