Kayak & Synergix Merge Into Blaze
Kayak Interactive has announced a full merger with wholly-owned European subsidiary Synergenix Interactive. The merged company has been renamed Blaze.
"BLAZE represents the culmination of three mobile game pioneers," said BLAZE President and CEO Keith McCurdy. "As the mobile game market continues to expand rapidly, we believe it is critical to step forward with a strong, united identity that resonates with consumers as well as licensing and distribution partners.

BLAZE plans to aggressively build on its existing portfolio of mobile entertainment for the masses in the coming year with the release of four highly anticipated Da Vinci Code games, additional VH-1 and MTV-branded content and other original and licensed properties. In 2005, the company released a wide range mobile offerings that appealed to both casual and avid gamers such as Slingo-2-Go, Poker Superstars Hold 'em, VH-1 I Know the 80's Trivia, The Three Stooges: Making Dough, Dick Tracy: The Fight for Truth, Carmageddon, Crazy Golf, Guinnesslinks World Records, Pixudoku, Lock 'n Load, and Conflict: Global Storm.
