The so-called indestructible Sonim XP1 cellphone is at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to challenge all skeptic journalists and bloggers to torture this very durable device, as part of its "World's Toughest Phone Tour".

Well, the people behind this Push-To-Talk enabled GSM phone are so confident about their product for it was able to withstand shots from glock 9mm and Remington Rifle, hammer, car cement mixer, oven, freezer, dirt, dust and other extreme temperatures.

Designed for outdoor sports enthusiasts, Sonim XP1 must be really tough but the tour is not yet over so there's still a chance to prove them wrong. Perhaps subjecting it to "Will it Blend" torture might help generate more publicity.
