iPhone Hype Cycle: Here We Go Again, Again
MacWorld starts in San Francisco Monday and was the case with every official Apple product intro event for the past year or more, the iPhone rumor kettle is about to boil off the stove. some days I don't actually think there is one being actively designed at Apple, rather they let the rumor float, let their designers sit on their hands, and let fanbois, Photoshop freaks and analysts game out every possible design, marketing campaign, development partner and distribution strategy, all without having to lift a finger themselves.

Still, sites and experts are putting the odds down of a possible announcement. Technorati sports over 31,000 mentions of iPhone in the blogosphere (we count for a few of those). For my money, based on the fact the FCC hasn't approved any device (usually the tip off for a new model), the meat of macworld will be around iTV, Apple's TV streaming device. But like everyone else with an Apple product in their home, I wait hopefully. As a 4 Mac/2iPod household, the integration with my personal information would be great - Microsoft and Nokia don't make this easy as is.

So, why not vote for yourself?
