You got to love the hype that's been going on around iPhone. It's genius! Even Solutions Research Group has released a profile of people "definitely" interested to buy iPhone for $499.
Frankly, I'm not sure about this whole buyer profile. What I like to do is keep this file and match it against whatever demographic profile will emerge one year after launch of iPhone. Hey, this is a good way of measuring the company's accuracy on market research!
This information comes from Digital Life America, SRG's independent syndicated trend study. The results are based on an online survey of American consumers in May 2007 (1,230). Digital Life America uses high quality, professionally-managed panels which represent the U.S. online population by age, gender, region, and Ethnicity. To maintain an unbiased perspective, Solutions Research Group funds its own syndicated research.
