htc's latest smartphone, the Touch Cruise, looks to offer some nice goodies such as GPS and HTC Footprints, an application that geotags images and creates digital postcards right on the phone.
Once a photo is captured, Footprints can take notes, an audio clip, and geotag to identify its geographical location. When users flip back through photos, they will be able to retrace steps to that exact location (indoor or out).
When placed in its car cradle, the Touch Cruise becomes an in-car navigation system. It automatically converts its user interface for turn-by-turn directions.
Using TouchFLO technology, the Touch Cruise provides fingertip access to phone, contacts, email, messaging, calendar, and GPS applications.
The Touch Cruise will be available in all major global markets in spring 2009. For full specs, click here.

I love HTC – it’s nice to see an Asian firm doing product innovation (or imitation, since their products seem to resemble Apple’s a lot)
