Hotel WiFi: Good, Bad and Ugly
As a public service, Mobile Weblog passes on HotelChatter's list of the best hotel WiFi (in the US) list for 2006, via Boing Boing. The survey gives the biggest shout out to Kimpton Hotels, which correlates with my experience. Tomorrow HotelChatter will bring us the worst hotels for the service.

Also on Boing Boing, a deserved rant against Swisscom's WiFi service as delivered by the Victoria Park plazalinks hotel in London, charging $838.73 per day for WiFi if you buy it on the hourly rate. A lot of hotels and other establishments could be busted for doing the same thing. I guess it's because WiFi costs so much to deliver to the end user ;-).
