Soon, taking photos using your camera phone will become a powerful tool for many shoppers and retailers, according to a news article in the Sun.
Thanks to Nokia's image recognition technology called Point and Find, it will enable savvy shoppers to "take pictures of products in store windows before forwarding their snaps to special recognition software inside the handset."

This system might be a more intelligent or futuristic version of QR codes. Once a particular item is recognized by the system, your phone will automatically open your mobile browser and search for the cheapest price in the market.
Sadly, we have to wait for another 3 years before this becomes a reality.
