Hattrick Licenses Comedy Clips for Mobile
British television production company Hattrick has signed a one year deal with UK-based i-rights to bring a range of clips drawn from Hattrick's comedy productions to mobile users.

Included will be clips from "Have I Got News for You", "The Kumars at Number 42" and the Graham Lineham ("The It Crowd") penned "Father Ted".
Clips from Father Ted will be the first product to launch on Orange UK and Vodafone in the UK and ireland. i-Rights has licensed the rights to sell clips on mobile phones, wallpapers and ringtones.

Paul Cohen, head of legal & business affairs at Hat Trick, said: "It has become clear over recent months that this is an area of increasing importance to Independent Producers."
