Group Texting from Kiboze
Ewan at SMS Text News has posted a piece on the recent launch of Kiboze, a US service that integrates SMS text messaginglinks with traditional PC-based instant messaging groups, allowing customers to send a message to a group of friends, drawn from your existing buddy lists on whichever IM networks you are currently registered.

The service is quite simple: Select a group of friends, send a message to Kiboze, and Kiboze will send the message to the people in your group list, either by SMS if they are a Kiboze member, or via IM to their IM client if they are not.

It certainly seems like an interesting idea.
