New Applications
by Jason Giacchino on February 5, 2010

While no one could accuse Google's much-hyped Nexus One smartphone of being outdated so soon, it appears as though the company's already got a host of features to be added in weeks to come.
Among the notables, users can expect an update that enables full multi-touch features such pinch-to-zoom capabilities not unlike that on the iPhone.
Other additions include search suggestions based on a previous search history, an update to Google Maps that adds "starred item" synchronization and improved 3G connectivity on some devices.
Google says the update will gradually be sent to devices over the next week. Nexus One owners will receive a message in the notifications bar when the update is completed.

Nexus ONE really needed updates and GOOGLE being a customer friendly company that it is, has done the right thing at the right time.
