Now, it unveils a new service called Pizza by TXT in the UK. All you need to do is send an SMS or text message, sit back, relax, and wait for your favorite pizza to be delivered to your doorstep.
Talk about junk food at your fingertips! There are about 470 Domino's outlets in the UK and more than 2,000 customers are already signed up since the pizza company started its trial In July.
Indeed, convenience is a very powerful motivator. This is a good marketing move made by Domino's and I'm quite sure this will be implemented in other countries soon, particularly in Asia wherein text messaging is a way of life. I just hope this will not contribute in increasing obesity over the long haul.
