Debitel Brings Samsung Mobile TV Handset to Europe

Mobile TV service will be available in five major cities of Germany. The service will start in Berlin, Cologne, Munich, Stuttgart and Frankfurt and then will spread to more major German cities during the next month.The P900, which is most notable for it's rotating screen, also has a 2 megapixel camera, digital audio playback support, bluetooth and in-built stereo speakers.
Paul A. Stodden, CEO of Debitel said, "German is an ideal market to be the first in Europe to launch the DMB mobile TV service. '2006 FIFA World Cup' is taking place and people will enjoy watching live soccer broadcasts. With the help of our DMB service, our customers will not miss any of the action and excitement of the World Cup soccer matches. We are also delighted to work with Samsung and through this cooperation, becoming Europe's first to commercially launch mobile DMB TV service ".
