regular readers may have noticed I've been remarkably absent for the past few weeks. Well, the major development work on my project has been completed, and the first release has been made - and that's all I'm saying on the subject until Monday, when I'll be posting full details of what I've been working on right here. This also means that I should be able to get back to some more regular postings as I should, hopefully, have more free time (although there's still a lot of work to be done!)

I also picked up a new handset the other day, having finally become fed up with my old Nokia 6630. I grabbed a Sony Ericsson K800i in silver from O2, along with all the free James Bond extras. I've not had much of a chance to play with it yet, and I haven't even managed to get my contacts across from my old handset, but the ease with which I managed to get a proper wallpaper displayed, and my own custom-made ringtone (the same one as I had on the Nokia) was welcome.

I'll try and set aside time to give the K800i a good going over and pop down some words about it as I get used to it. One thing I will say so far is I absolutely love the size and clarity of the screen...
