Cingular Goes with Samsung for First 3G Handset

Cingular has announced it will provide the first commercial 3G handset in North America with the addition of the Samsung GH-ZX10 to its lineup, running on the WCDMA standard. Like many other 3G handsets, the GH-ZX10 can handle video conversations, and also sports a 1.3 MP camera. Cingular hopes the new handset will help carry its new Cingular Video service to market. Pricing and launch date are not yet set.
