The latest Carnival of the Mobilists has been released, this week hosted by Daniel Taylor over on the Mobile Enterprise Weblog. This week includes coverage of some upcoming events, such as 3GSM 2006 and the fracas over RIM's blackberrylinks patents. Also presented are a number of articles talking about various industry trends, withy Jim Downing from Smartmobs noting there will be more than 440 million mobile subscribers in China in 2006, whilst Xen Dolev disusses the use of SMS in dating.

And to round out this week, Justin Oberman provides a complete guide to making your own ringtones, something I've personally already done.
