Blackberry to Become Just Like Everybody Else

Blackberry to Become Just Like Everybody Else

This story comes via Gizmodo and eWeek, and its actually something new about the Blackberry other than a new product introduction. According to RIM CEO Jim Balsillie, the Blackberry may become, how shall we say, more mortal in the near future. This means adding crazy features such as a camera, MP3 player and GPS. Just to show that the Blackberry won't become fun any time soon, Balsillie also said the company may begin to add more peripherals for the ubiquitous device, include RFID readers, barcode scanners and printers.

But can it get you hooked up at the Marriott free happy hour? No, this ultimate desire of the traveling businessman won't be coming from RIM any time soon.
