You know you're doing something right when you start posting numbers like Apple's been enjoying. The maker of the iPhone and iPod Touch is fast approaching a billion downloads for its online App Store.
The company unveiled a Web page dedicated to tracking the number of downloads until it hits the one billion milestone.
The popularity of Apple's App Store has only been increasing since the company started allowing third-party developers to sell programs in the online market in July.
Just three months ago (January) Apple announced that it had surpassed 500 million downloads.
By comparison, it took the company over two years to sell its billionth song through iTunes.
